I needed to make space and one of my first dioramas had to go as I was not happy with how it turned out. Well when I said this to my wife she was shocked and ask me not to get rid of it as this was one of her favorite ones. So I said: how about me make a better one on a thicker base and would take up less space?...  She liked that idea 

So we start with the old one:

So the Panther and cargo truck with be on this as the very large Karl Mortar is simply too large 
so it's down to the 8ton half track
