Moving along with the engine installed
Then onto the exhaust
Building the engine compartment and the jack they wanted XF-60 and I changed it to something a bit more of an eye catcher
Engine compartment completed (for now) till it's time to weather it, the front suspension was also completed and installed.
Dry fitting the sides while they dry, floor is ready for more primer then off to get the wood look done.
Quick walk around
Going through and getting a few things ready for primer
Over the weekend was getting ready for and spraying primer.
This morning was spent spraying body color.
Looking at adding this fabric flag to the front when done. They say it can't be added on FaceBook but I can add it on here 🤣 😆 😉
Below is the latest work done or being done
A little work on the figure
Dash work
I decided to paint the gauge to see how it will look over using the easy way "the decal"
Floorboards are ready to be installed
Prepping for priming the next batch
The back lamp I went with the clear part and sprayed clear green on the back side and on the back mount I used chrome, now it mask off the 4 areas and primer it all.

These were clear parts and now installed on the car:
Dash is completed and install:
Now working on the doors as they need some cleaning to fit right then comes the camo, from there all the small parts to be done and the seats installed
Comments welcome
Made it back to the bench after cleaning up the stash closet and all the sprues leftovers.
Used Panzer putty for masking and sprayed XF-61 thinned with Tamiya Lacquer
Removed all the masking and I'm liking the results ((thoughts?))
Tools completed
Tools, seats, doors and canopy installed
Gloss coat done and decals placed, now to soften them up to lay flat
it's been a bit since the last post so this one will be going over the car to get up to date on this build. It's just easier to take pictures and post on the Cold Thunder FaceBook group and move on and then catch up here.
So we start off with the start of weathering not that the decals are down and the flat varnish has been sprayed.
Below from March 3rd
March 5th = dirty time
March 7th through 10th = working on the driver and setting him in the car
March 11th through 13th = weapons and such a long with the flag
