I'm going to give it a shot printing a dragon which is 11 separate prints that need to be glued together.

20220320 150254

Head and 3 other parts printed.

20220323 082545

Printing the wings proved to be a bit of a pain but was able to get the upper wings to fit on the build plate. The tail was nice and detailed as well.

Putting all the parts together.

20220426 082028

Sprayed primer black

20220426 105754

Sprayed Testors color shifting paint from a rattle can.

For the spikes I went with Metallic Black.

20220427 184654

The claws and horns are Dark Bronze, mouth pale burnt metal and tongue is metallic rust with clear red over both.

20220429 182626
20220429 182502
20220429 182737
20220429 182655
20220429 182751

Then two different oil washes, Sepia and black to give an older look and to bring out the shadows. Last was dry brushing metallic blue over the whole dragon and a good coat of clear gloss
